Guilty Plea in Upshur County Drug Case

prison cellsGILMER – A man on parole has been sentenced in a drug case in Upshur County. Reginald Eugene Johnson of Gilmer, who turns 33 next week, has pleaded guilty to felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. In a plea agreement, he was sentenced 20 years in prison. This will be stacked on his Camp County prison sentence to which he was on parole at the time of this offense. His arrest stemmed from a traffic stop in which he threw a bag of marijuana from his car window. Marijuana was also found on him and in his car was marijuana, ecstasy and methamphetamine .
