Harrison County Burn Ban

MARSHALL – There is only one burn ban in effect in the area, and it’s in Harrison County.Because of dry conditions, Harrison County residents are asked not to burn. The ban went into effect on Monday and will remain for 90 days or until it is lifted by the county commissioners or the County Judge. A violation of the burn ban could cost someone a fine up to $500. The burn ban in Harrison County is the only one in effect east of Interstate Highway 45.
