One in Custody in Palestine Fatal Shooting

PALESTINE — One person has been killed and one arrested in a Palestine shooting. It happened around 10:30 Monday night on West Point Tap Road. The victim, who was found in the yard, was transported to the Palestine Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Tuesday morning, Palestine police said they had made an arrest in the case. The names of the victim and suspect have not been released.
