U.S. News Ranks LETU in Top Tier of 2017 College Rankings

LONGVIEW — LeTourneau University has ranked again in the top tier of the national 2017 U.S. News and World Report’s annual rankings of “America’s Best Colleges.” LETU is ranked 27th in 2017, up from 32 in 2016, among all the universities in its category of “Best Regional Universities in the Western Region.” This year marks the 23rd year the university has ranked in the top tier of its classification.

LETU was also ranked 4th among best value for regional universities in the West in the U.S. News “Great Schools Great Prices” ranking. And the university was listed as one of only 3 Texas universities on the A-plus Schools for B-students ranking. According to a news release from LETU, this is a ranking of schools that admit a meaningful proportion of applicants whose test scores and class standings are non-A students, but are schools that provide a decent shot at being accepted and thriving with spirit and hard work. Additionally, LETU ranked 15th on the list of Best Colleges for Veterans, a jump from a ranking of 27 last year.
