Another Local Zika Virus Case

GILMER – A second Zika virus case has turned up in the area. The Texas Department of State Heath Services reports the latest case is in Upshur County. This case, like all the others reported in Texas, is travel related. Last month a Zika virus case was reported in Gregg County. The woman, who had developed the symptoms, had just traveled to Puerto Rico. Texas has recorded 168 Zika vius cases this year.
