Stuff to Lead Facilities Management and Capital Planning at U-T TylerTYLER – At the University of Texas at Tyler, Jerry Stuff has been named the associate vice president for facilities management and capital planning. Stuff has 25 years of experience in higher education where he has been the senior associate university architect and director of project development. His experience includes directing the activities of design professionals and contractors for the design, bidding and construction of more than $150 million in annual capital and renovation projects.

UT Tyler is set to begin construction in October on a $76 million project that will include the construction of a new 140,000 square-foot building to house the College of Business and Technology. They will also be renovating the existing 100,000 square-foot facility to house the College of Arts and Sciences. The university also is completing the construction of the Alumni House that is set to open in spring 2017.

In this position, Stuff, a licensed architect, will lead and oversee all UT Tyler architectural and engineering design, construction management activities, master planning, facilities budget management, space planning and facility matters including maintenance of campus buildings and infrastructure, custodial services, campus grounds and environmental health & safety.
