Henderson Policeman Found Not Guilty

MARSHALL – A jury in Marshall has found a Henderson police officer innocent of the charge of of indecency with a child by sexual contact. The jury returned the verdict Friday. Jeronimo Holguin Jr., 25, of Waskom, was arrested last October. He was put on administrative leave following his arrest. The victim, who is younger than 17, told Hallsville police that Holguin had touched her breast under her clothes on two occasions, first in June of 2014 and then in mid-January of last year. She repeated the testimony in court during the trial. But the jury came back with a not guilty verdict.
