Large Marijuana Operation Uncovered in Upshur County

GILMER- A Large wooded area north of Gilmer has yielded a large marijuana growing operation. Over 2,500 plans were found in northern Upshur County. A tip led law officers to the marijuana field Thursday afternoon. No word on who was running the operation. According to the sheriff’s department Facebook page, no one was found at the location and not arrests have been made.
