Toddler’s Drowning Death Reported to Be Accidental

NACOGDOCHES — The Nacogdoches Police Department is investigating the death of child Sunday night. According to KETK, officials responded to a hospital after a report that a child had drowned at a private pool on Lee Lane around 8:30. Officials said the boy was found by another sibling who alerted their parents. The child died at the hospital. The boy has been identified as 19-month-old Edgar Rodriguez. His death is believed to be accidental.
