One Arrested in Nacogdoches County Robbery

NACOGDOCHES – One person is in custody and one being sought in a Nacogdoches robbery. The robbery occurred at a house on Rigby Road northwest of Nacogdoches Saturday morning. As sheriff’s deputies arrived, they saw Walter Brazille 36, of Oklahoma City, fleeing the scene. After a short foot chase, he was taken into custody without incident. A second suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, later found abandoned in the Garrison area.

A woman told officers her power went off. When she went to the door to check on the problem, she was confronted by the armed suspect who forced her back in the house, pointing the gun at her and her boyfriend.The boyfriend was able to get out of the house and started running toward a neighbor’s house. The suspect went outside and shot at the boyfriend, who was not hit. Brazille has been charged with aggravated robbery, unlawful possession o fa firearm by a felon and and evading arrest.
