Police: No Foul Play Evident after Body FoundTYLER — Tyler police say no evident signs of foul play were found regarding a body recently found on Loop 323. That’s after investigators received the preliminary report from the Dallas County Medical Examiner. According to authorities, investigators were able to retrace the whereabouts of 49-year-old Richard Wayne Farmer on the night before he came up missing and determined that no criminal activity surrounding his death was detected. Investigators were also advised that he was in poor health.

On Tuesday, July 12, Tyler police received a call from a contractor who said he had found a deceased person in a grass area near McCoy’s Building Supply off the shoulder of the roadway. Investigators responded to the scene and were shown where the decomposed body was found. There were no evident signs of foul play present upon the initial investigation. Investigators located an ID on the body that was later confirmed to be the identification of the deceased.
