Guilty Plea in a Tyler Drug Case

TYLER — A man accused of drug possession at a Tyler gym has pleaded guilty. The guilty plea was entered Thursday morning by 29 year old Christopher James Thompson of Tyler. After the plea in 241st State District Court, Thompson was sentenced to 15 years in state prison. Arrested late last December with Thompson was 33 year old Ryan Younger. He is out of jail on bond awaiting trial. When arrested, the men were said to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine.
