TYLER – A young woman is dead and her passenger injured in a predawn one-vehicle wreck in Smith County. The preliminary investigation shows a car was traveling west when, according to the passenger, the driver fell asleep. The vehicle drove off the road to the left and into a ditch, where it hit a private drive and rolled over. The driver, 18 year old Tambilan Williams, of Tyler, was pronounced dead at the scene.
