$20,000 Reward Offered in Horaney Homicide Case

LONGVIEW — Gregg County Sheriff Maxey Cerliano Thursday announced a reward of $20,000 is being offered for the arrest and indictment of the person responsible for Longview businessman Ron Horaney’s death. According to KETK, Cerliano added authorities are hoping for additional tips. No other new information was released. Gregg County Crime Stoppers can be reached at 903-236-STOP (7867).
Horaney, 54, was shot on Memorial Day at his home on Tryon Road, north of Longview, and later died at a local hospital. He was laid to rest over the weekend. Horaney owned Horaney’s Feed Store, and his grandfather founded the business in 1940. No arrests or suspects have been named in the case. A sketch of a person of interest (left) was released last week.
