Rope Accident Leaves Young Girl Dead

NACOGDOCHES – Nacogdoches police have identified the child that died in an accident involving a rope Sunday. According to KETK, she’s Addison Perez, 8. Officers said the girl had been playing with a rope on a stairwell and, somehow, the rope wrapped around her neck. She died Monday at a Houston hospital. Police said they do believe it was an accident but are still investigating the case, along with CPS.
