One Killed in Anderson County Accident

CAYUGA – One person has been killed and one injured in an Anderson County accident. The one vehicle crash occurred shortly after 1:15 Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 287 near Cayuga. Dead at the scene was Jennifer Elliott, 34, of Canton. She was a passenger in the car and was thrown from the vehicle. The driver, Cash Price, 28, of Canton, was treated and released from a Palestine Hospital. The Department of Public Safety reports Price’s vehicle left the road, hit several trees and rolled over.
