Power Restored in Kilgore

KILGORE – The power is back on in Kilgore. A problem in a substation knocked out power to around 1,350 residents. AEP Southwestern Electric Power Company said the outage occurred shortly before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon. The power was restored shortly before 2:00. According to a SWEPCO spokesman, they have not determined the cause of the outage.
