Fourth Street Closed Nightly to Through Traffic

LONGVIEW — Fourth Street in Longview will be closed between Highway 80 and Jefferson Street from June 5 through June 6 and June 12 through June 13 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Officials say the closure will allow for street repairs with asphalt overlay on Fourth Street. Drivers wishing to travel between Jefferson Street and Highway 80 should use alternate routes along Third or Sixth Street. The purpose of the project is to replace deteriorated asphalt and overlay.
