Charges Filed in a Wood County Fatality

QUITMAN – A Wood County man has been arrested in connection with a fatal 4-wheeler accident. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon off Highway 154 near Quitman. Killed when the 4-wheeler she was on flipped over was Michelle Hagger, 52. KETK reports, at the time of the accident, the 4-wheeler was being towed by a vehicle driven by Ted Wayne Morris, Sr., 57, of Quitman. Sheriff’s department investigators say that Morris had been drinking at the time of the accident. He’s been charged with manslaughter and booked into the Wood County Jail.
