Union Approves New Contract with Tyler Trane Plant

TYLER – Members of Local 86782 of the International Union of Electronic and Electrical Workers/Communications Workers of America approved a new contract with the Tyler Trane plant. The vote on the new four year pact was Sunday. Details of the new contract were not released. In a news releases from Trane, Tyler plant manager Ted Crabtree was quoted as saying they were pleased with the vote outcome. Union president Tony Hays added they were happy both sides could work out the labor deal. The Tyler Trane plant employs over 1,400 production employees and over 400 salaried employees.
