Officials Say They’ve Identified Mail Theft Suspect

SMITH COUNTY — East Texans are asked to be on the lookout for an alleged mail thief who authorities say they’ve now identified, though his name wasn’t immediately released. According to KETK, a camera captured a man reportedly stealing material from a mailbox in Starrville. Smith County Pct. 4 Constable John Smith says there have been several complaints of mail thefts in the Chapel Hill, Winona, Starrville, and Lindale areas.
