Tyler Business Robbed

TYLER — The Valero convenience store at 4833 Troup Highway has been robbed. It happened shortly after 9:15 Saturday night. The suspect was described as a black male, with his face covered, and armed with a hand gun. He used the gun to hit a woman customer several times. She was treated at the scene for minor injuries. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money. He left the area in an older model four door vehicle on Thistle heading towards Shiloh.
