One Dead in Smith County Crash

SMITH COUNTY — One person is dead following a one-vehicle crash near Tyler. According to KETK, DPS says around 6 p.m. Wednesday, a truck near the intersection of Smith County Roads 1141 and 1140 hit a tree. A man died at the scene. A trooper at the site said it appears the man had a medical condition that may have caused the crash.
