King Named President Pro Tem at TVCC

ATHENS — The board of trustees at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, have named a President Pro Tem for the school. At a called Monday night meeting the board selected the school’s Vice President of Instruction, Dr. Jerry King, for the post. King has been with the school since 1975, serving in a variety of position. He was even Mayor of Athens for for 10 years, starting in 1995. The post became vacant late last month when school trustees suspended president Glendon Forgey. He was suspended with pay pending an investigation into his contract.
