Cold Case Help Needed in Marshall

MARSHALL — Marshall police are seeking the public’s help in solving a cold case. The are looking any information related to the murder of Romeo Woolen, which occurred in August 1993. Woolen, and a woman passenger in his car, were both found with gunshot wounds to the head. Their car was found parked and running at the intersection of Hanks and Summit Streets. Woolen was dead at the scene. The woman was still alive and taken to the hospital.

The Marshall Police Departments’ Criminal Investigations Bureau has put in many hours on this case, but has yet to come up with any information leading to an arrest.
