The Lobo Band Director is Staying

LONGVIEW — The Director of the Longview High School Band has decided to rescind his resignation and remain on the job. School board President Chris Mack told the Longview News Journal Louis Robinett had submitted a letter saying he would resign at the end of the school year. His resignation was scheduled to be discussed by school trustees during Monday night’s meeting. But, before the meeting started, Robinett withdrew his letter. He wrote in an email to parents and students “After meeting with district administration, I have decided to resend my resignation. You’re stuck with me for a while. Go Lobos!”
