Fatal Rusk County Wreck

HENDERSON — One person has been killed in a one vehicle accident in Rusk County. The wreck occurred around 7:00 Wednesday morning On U.S. Highway 259 near Henderson. Dead at the scene was Joseph Daniel Stringer, 34, a Henderson EMT. The Department of public Safety reports he was traveling an an unsafe speed on a wet road when his car left the road and hit a tree. They also report he was not wearing his seat belt.
