A Prison Term in an Upshur County Drug Case

GILMER — An Upshur County drug suspect has pleaded guilty. John Brady Harris, 26, prior to the jury selection of his trial, entered a guilty plea on Monday. State District Judge Lauren Parish sentenced Harris to 20 years in prison for delivery of methamphetamine. On August 12, 2015 Harris was observed on video, selling 1.81 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant. He was also under indictment for two different delivery of methamphetamine charges that he entered a plea in, and admitted his guilt.
