East Texan Arrested in Spring Break Drug Bust

PEARLINGTON, Miss. (AP) – Authorities say federal agents seized three 5-gallon buckets of liquid methamphetamine during a raid of a Mississippi home and two pounds of crystal meth while foiling a drug deal at a Gulfport gas station. The Sun Herald reports the undercover narcotics operation happened Friday during spring break weekend. As a result of the drug busts, agents arrested three people on federal charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of meth. Roy Tatum, 40, Palestine, Texas, Chiquita Acker, 39, Pearlington, Mississippi, and Tosh Humphrey, 36, of Slidell, Louisiana, are being held in the Harrison County jail.
