Argument Leads to Fatal Tyler Shooting

TYLER – An argument appears to be what sparked a fatal Tyler shooting. 71 year old Car Ivy remains jailed under a $250,000 bond in the shooting death of her 74 year old husband Richard. The Saturday afternoon shooting occurred at the couple’s home at 2900 Meadowlark Drive. An affidavit says the couple were arguing because the victim said his wife was taking too long to get ready to go to a memorial. He even told her to get the gun. Which she did. She says the gun just fired and she didn’t know what happened next. She said, she did not mean to shoot him.
