East Texas Boy Rescued from Flooded Area

ORE CITY — An Ore City child was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after he was swept into a creek. According to the National Weather Service and KETK, around 1:00, several children were said to be playing near Meddlin Creek in Ore City when the boy was swept away by the current. He was rescued and taken to a hospital. His injuries were said to be minor.
