Tyler House Fire Under Investigation

TYLER — Heavy damage is reported in a two-alarm fire early Monday morning at a house at 215 E. Fifth Street in Tyler. Fire officials say crews arrived to find the house fully involved and vented through the roof. Firefighters brought the blaze under control in approximately forty minutes. The house was vacant at the time, and no injuries have been reported. The Tyler Fire Marshal’s office is currently investigating the origin and cause.
