Gohmert Claims Election Opposition Over Ex-Speaker of the House

EAST TEXAS — A Texas Congressman who’s a familiar face on TV has been challenged by two opponents in Tuesday’s Primary. First District Congressman Louie Gohmert, Tyler, has been challenged in the Republican Primary by rancher Simon Winston, and also by stay-at-home dad, Anthony Culler, who’s frustrated that Gohmert is ignoring him. Gohmert says he’s being challenged for his seat because he went after former Speaker of the House John Boehner.
