Early Voting Deadline Approaches

TYLER – Early voting in next Tuesday’s primary election ends on Friday. Karen Nelson, Smith County’s Elections Administrator, says early voting has gone smoothly. As the early voting deadline approaches, the number of voters has increased. Nelson says early voting in the Democratic primary has exceed their numbers in 2012, and the Republicans are not far behind their 2012 totals.

On Friday, early voting will run from 7:00am till 7:00pm at all five locations. You can vote early at the Smith County Elections office on East Ferguson, at the Lindale Public Library, the Noonday Community Center, at the Whitehouse Municipal Court, and at the Heritage Building on Bellwood Road in Tyler .
