Police: Man in Custody after Chase in Stolen Vehicle

LONGVIEW — Longview police say Jose Lopez, 28, was arrested Friday evening after he allegedly used a stolen vehicle to lead police on a car chase that ended near Gilmer. KETK reports Lopez is charged with evading arrest, driving a stolen vehicle, and DWI. He’s in custody without bond on an Immigration and Naturalization Service hold.
