TJC Student Newspaper Wins Multiple State Awards
Posted/updated on: October 12, 2010 at 11:19 amTYLER — The Apache Pow Wow, the award-winning student newspaper of Tyler Junior College, walked away with 12 awards during the annual Texas Community College Journalism Association conference Friday, Oct. 8, in Arlington. The awards included First Place for General Excellence and the Division I Sweepstakes Award.
The students placed in an array of TCCJA categories for previously published work. Awards the Pow Wow staff received for previously published work from TCCJA were:
