Upshur County Charges Teen With Sexual Assault of a Child

GILMER — The Upshur County Sheriff’s Office has charged a teenager with online solicitation of a minor under 14 and aggravated sexual assault of a child. He is identified as Bradley Dillon Parmer, 18, of Harrison County. His bonds total $200,000. The investigation began when authorities were told the teen had been communicating with a child younger than 14 in an inappropriate manner. Parmer was supposedly sending sexually explicit messages and nude photographs of himself to the child. When questioned by authorities, Parmer was said to have confessed to meeting the youngster and performing a sexual act on the child. It was then he was charged and booked into the Upshur County Jail. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
