Gilmer Man Indicted on Murder Charge

GILMER — A Gilmer man accused of murdering his wife was indicted Wednesday morning by an Upshur County grand jury. According to KETK, deputies arrested Roger Dale Mullins, Jr., 33, early in the morning of October 3, following a standoff beginning late on October 2. Authorities found his wife, Angela LeeAnn Mullins, 24, dead inside the couple’s home off FM 49. Law enforcement responded to the scene after receiving a call about a man with a gun at the home. The suspect’s bond is set at $1 million on one count of murder. He remains in the Upshur County Jail.
