Arrest Made in Armed Robbery at Longview Store

LONGVIEW — One person is in custody following an armed robbery at a Longview store just after 11:00 Saturday morning. According to KETK, police say Brandon Cole, 30, entered the Walmart store on East Loop 281 between North 4th Street and U.S. 259. Witnesses say Cole pulled out a gun and began demanding money from a clerk at the Money Center inside the store. They report Cole was given cash and then ran off. Officers say they found him a short time later in the area of Harmon Drive and Eubanks Street. Police report that the money stolen and the gun used have been recovered.
