Prison Term for a Longview Man on Indecency Charges

LONGVIEW — A Longview man has received a ten year prison term after pleading guilty to three counts of indecency with a child. The Longview News Journal reports Daniel Shane Andrews, 28, was charged with two counts of indecency with a child by contact and one charge of indecency by exposure. The child indecency charges stem from a may 2014 offense. The sexual abuse is said to have occurred at least 10 times with two boys younger than 12. Because of the conviction, Andrews must register as a sex offender for life.
