Body Found in Gregg County is Missing Man

LIBERTY CITY – Gregg County Authorities have confirmed that a body found in a creek was that of a missing 39 year old man, Tommy Dale Beason. The man’s dad, Tony Beason, had earlier said the body was that of his son. The body was pulled from Little Caney Creek Wednesday afternoon. The man’s dad told the Longview News Journal that he used cellphone coordinates to find the body. His son was last seen on October 27th. He was reported missing a few days later. The body, which appears to have been in the water for some time, was badly decomposed. The body was sent to Tyler for autopsy.
