Arrests Made in Sulphur Springs Homicide

SULPHUR SPRINGS — One Person is in custody following a fatal shooting in Sulphur Springs. Being held on a $1 million bond is Justin Joe McQueen, 19, of Sulphur Springs. He’s charged in the shooting death of Jesse Vasquez, 25, of Sulphur Springs. He was shot around 8:30 Sunday night in the 600 Block of Ingram Street. Vasquez, who was shot numerous times, was found lying in the road. He later died at an area hospital.
