Longview Police Investigate Shooting; Victim Critically Wounded

LONGVIEW — Longview police are seeking leads in a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning and left the victim with what are termed life-threatening injuries. Police were dispatched shortly before 4:00 yesterday morning to the 100 Block of West Pliler Street. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot in the neck. He was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center. Police say the suspect or suspects fled the scene prior to officer arrival. Police say they are following up on information they have received about the shooting.
