Sexual Assault Suspect Sought

LONGVIEW — The Gregg County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man accused of sexual assault of a child. He is Ruben Velazquez Bolanos, a Mexican national. Bolanos is a previous resident of Gregg County and is believed to have fled to Mexico when the warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month. Bolanos has family and friends in the area and he will likely return here at some point. Due to the nature of the offense and the age of the victim, no further case information has been released.
