New Police Chief Sworn In at LETU

LONGVIEW — LeTourneau University hosted a short swearing-in ceremony Monday morning for its new chief of police, Michael Schultz. Gregg County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Tim Bryan administered the oath of office. Schultz succeeds Terry Turner, who left the university in May after serving in the role for nearly 16 years. Before coming to Longview, Schultz served as police sergeant for Spring ISD for 17 years and Cypress-Fairbanks ISD for three years.
