Fall Convocation at LeTourneau University

LONGVIEW — LeTourneau University held its opening convocation Monday in the S. E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center. School president Dr. Dale A. Lunsford was the featured speaker, welcoming incoming and returning students. In his address, Dr. Lunsford reminded the students of the mission of the university and challenged them to write their own mission as they seek to find meaning in their future careers. This school year opens with a new Remotely Piloted Aircraft major in aviation, new dual-credit partnerships with Pine Tree and Longview school districts, and a new field house being constructed on campus.
