Smith County Road Reopened in Time for School

SMITH COUNTY — Smith County Road and Bridge crews worked fast this week to replace a concrete box culvert so County Road 3107 could reopen before school starts, according to a county news release. The road is in the northeast part of the county, close to Gladewater schools. After announcing the closure Monday to replace the culvert undermined by May flooding, the road was reopened Wednesday afternoon.
