Man Injured by Train in East Texas

MARSHALL — Harrison County authorities are continuing their investigation of a man injured by a train. The unidentified man had one foot severed and the other partially cut off. He claims he lost his footing and fell under the train. Authorities feel he may have been train hopping and could face trespassing charges. The incident was reported around 1:30 Saturday afternoon near the Muntz Cutoff and U.S. Highway 80 near Marshall.
