Burn Ban in Effect in Wood County

QUITMAN — Wood County has been placed under a burn ban, according to local officials. Outside cooking is allowed if the grill is covered. KETK reports that almost all of East Texas is now under a burn ban. Anyone who does not follow the order is subject to a large fine.
