Volunteer Firemen Looking for Bottled Water

TYLER — Smith County volunteer fire departments have put out a call for bottled drinking water. The Smith County Volunteer Firemen’s Association says because of the high temperatures and lack of rain, they have extinguished more fires which have added physical stress on firefighters. You are asked to drop off bottled water at any of the volunteer fire departments in Smith County. They include Arp, Bullard, Chapel Hill, Dixie, Flint-Gresham, Jackson-Heights, Lindale, Noonday, Red Springs, Troup, Whitehouse, and Winona.
